S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl - Degtyarev's Law [v.1.0004] (2013) PC

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl - Degtyarev's Law is a global modification that was developed on the basis of Stalker: Shadows of Chernobyl and tells the further fate of the protagonist of the Call of Pripyat.

An independent fan studio called proger_Dencheek worked on the creation of the mod.

Plot

After returning from Pripyat, Degtyarev received the rank of colonel. Three years later, another even stronger energy release occurred on the territory of the Zone.

The SBU assumes that the US military is behind this, which has been planning to gain power in these territories for a long time. After these events, the Zone became even more dangerous, and therefore the government of Ukraine sends its best agent in order to uncover the secrets of what is happening. 

Gameplay

In addition to the new storyline, the developers have taken serious care to make the gameplay even more interesting. They made the following innovations:

• it became possible to use more than ten models of vehicles;
• the artificial intelligence of the NPC has been significantly improved – in battle, opponents are able to throw grenades, treat wounded allies, and after the battle they search the corpses and take the swag;
• added new mutants, including about ten types of zombies;
• to remove a lot of money and useful equipment from killed enemies, you need to have pumped skills.

A huge part of the changes affected the visual component. The models of many NPCs have become more realistic, as well as the animation of their movements. The use of bandages and other items now looks like in Stalker: The Call of Pripyat.

However, the most pleasant thing is done for owners of powerful computers. Thanks to the addition of new shaders and the engine, it turned out to significantly increase the level of graphics – with such changes, it seems that we have a full-fle
