S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat - Sleep Of Reason - The story of a Journalist – a global modification to the game Stalker: The Call of Pripyat, which plunges the gamer into a new dangerous story of a hero who does not remember his past.

A fan of the game universe worked on the creation of the mod under the creative pseudonym "Leonid Chaikin aka Goopy".

Plot

A journalist wakes up alone in the middle of the dead city of Pripyat. He is found by a group of stalkers, who take the hero to a safe place. He does not remember how he ended up in the most dangerous area of the Zone.

The character learns that there is only one way to get out of this place, and in order to find, and then safely pass through it, it is necessary to perform many difficult tasks.

In addition, the journalist must find out who left him alone in Pripyat to the mercy of fate.

Gameplay

The developer has done an incredibly great job, completely changing the storyline and even affecting the gameplay. Among the main modifications it is worth highlighting the following:

• in addition to the new main tasks, more than a hundred secondary ones have been added;
• the balance has been changed, which includes the cost of goods, characteristics of some types of weapons and equipment;
• the old caches have disappeared, and others have been added instead;
• another serious mutant called "kink";
• the starting video and ending have been replaced with fundamentally new ones.

This is only a small part of the changes that I want to talk about. Now all the actions unfold exclusively on one location – in the city of Pripyat, which was also redrawn.
