Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide is an unexpectedly cheerful mix of Left4Dead mechanics with a fantasy Warhammer setting, which has grown to huge proportions over the years.

The main opponents in Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide are skaven – upright intelligent rats that have invaded a small kingdom. There are a lot of Skaven, they are not particularly smart and behave extremely aggressively – just like zombies from a clear game. You, as part of a squad of 4 people, must clean up local locations from skaven.

Mechanically, we have a shooter with elements of a role-playing game. Moreover, the shooter is very non-standard. Since the action takes place in the fantasy Middle Ages, then the characters here are appropriate:

1. Dwarf: Master of defense, armor and massive melee attacks.
2. Soldier: The strongest melee class.
3. Witch Hunter: A dexterous versatile class.
4. Elf Archer: everything is clear here.

An artificial intelligence director is responsible for the actions of your enemies and some objects on the map, who always behaves based on circumstances. So you won't be able to memorize the location of first aid kits or bosses – it's always a surprise.

After completing each level, the heroes are given experience points. They are spent on everything: for the purchase of new weapons, the study of new abilities, updating the appearance. Initially, there are not so many bonuses of all kinds, but the distribution model assumes an infinite number of paid and free DLC, which exponentially increase both the number of locations themselves and the number of in-game items.
