Broadsword: Age of Chivalry is a computer video game in the genre of medieval simulation and strategy, which allows you to plunge into the world of chivalry. A small and little-known studio called Hoplite Research LLC worked on the creation of the game.

Plot

The developers allow you to go to the Middle Ages, where for many years powerful kingdoms fought among themselves – England, France, Spain and the state of the Habsburg dynasty.

Your task is extremely simple, but difficult at the same time. By choosing one of the factions, lead it to victory over the rest. You will immediately have to accept that no one wants to end the conflict peacefully, and therefore prepare for a confrontation until complete extermination.

A distinctive feature of the game is a fairly high historical accuracy. For example, you can control real-life personalities who, by their actions, changed the course of the history of Western Europe. This includes Jeanne d’Ark, King Henry III of England and many others. 

Gameplay

Broadsword: Age of Chivalry is similar in many ways to the Total War series and differs in the following gameplay features:

• the ability to train archers, heavily armed cavalry and infantry;
• real-time battles;
• construction of buildings of cultural and industrial significance;
• development of the technological level of the fraction;
• an open game world, which is represented by the territories of Western Europe.

Graphics

Initially, Broadsword: Age of Chivalry was developed for smartphones and tablets, but after it was ported to PC. However, the level of its visualization has not increased at all, which makes it really outdated in terms of graphics. And yet it is perfect for owners of weak computers, because the
