"Insane 2" is a continuation of the first part of the racing arcade simulator with a very intriguing title, translated as "Madness". The second game was released eleven years after the localization date of the initial project, so fans who managed to forget about the existence of this creation are given the opportunity to compare two developments separated by a decade.

As such, there is no plot in "Madness 2". The gamer is required to:

1. Take part in the championships, which are the basis of the game.
2. To beat rivals at a distance.
3. Collect checkpoints.

The variety of championships has four types of competitions:

1. Tests of applicants.

4. Club of professionals.
