"Owlboy" is a two-dimensional platformer game with arcade content. Even before it was released, it attracted the attention of many experts by the fact that it was created for nine years, and this despite the fact that it has 2D graphics.

Plot

The main character is a young male owl or owl, in short, the guy is an owl. His name is Otus, he is kind and brave, so he gets involved in dangerous and noble adventures to save his special world, consisting of islands of land hanging high in the clouds. In addition to owls, patches of land are inhabited by people. Both types of living beings are the same size and live in peace and harmony. The main villains are pirates trying to conquer these fabulous peoples.

Features

In view of the fact that Otus has no hands and cannot shoot, his human friend holds the weapon. And the owl himself drags his wingless friend to different locations and levels of the game.

The gun holder has only one type of barrel in stock. Therefore, in order to deal with stronger and more protected opponents, Otus has to let go of his live cargo, and in return raise a person capable of inflicting more tangible damage to the enemy with shots. It is necessary to replenish the level of health with fruits. But to do this, you must first get rid of the passenger, and dump him, preferably away from the lechilka, so as not to interfere with picking up treats.

Due to the simplicity of the gameplay, the developers have freed the gamer from several conventions:

1. When teleporting, the shooting friend also moves along with the Owl.
2. The world is not confusing at all.
3. Puzzles can be considered formal. They absolutely do not distract from the main plot.

Unlike battles in normal locations, boss battles require considerable skill. And for players who do not speak English, the most difficult thing in "Owlboy" will be to understand the meaning of what is happening, because there is no official localization in Russia, the game h
