"Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II: Chaos Rising" is a two-game compilation, including the original version of the real-time strategy and its official supplement.

The original Dawn of War II game

The fantastic strategy involves events on distant planets in the Aurelia star cluster. Orcs and humans (space Marines) came together in battles there. Sometimes the Eldar actively get involved in events. The war goes on with varying success until a third force, the Tyranid race, appears in the arena. These beings are something unimaginable and hard for the mind to comprehend. Therefore, they pose a great danger to the Orcs, humanity, and the Eldar. But the common misfortune did not unite the enemies. Each of them is trying to pit their enemies against each other.

The main features of the game are:

1. A single-player campaign is only possible when playing as a Space Marine.
2. Construction is not provided.
3. There is no resource extraction.
4. At the same time, several tasks are received, from which only one can be selected and completed, and the rest become irretrievably lost.
5. It is allowed to manage no more than four squads.
6. Almost all objects are destructible.

All this is complemented by advanced artificial intelligence and other smaller chips.

Chaos Rising – the official addition to the strategy

This add-on, released a year after the main game, adds:

1. To the three existing races, one more, a Chaos Space Marine.
2. Twenty additional missions to the single-player campaign.
3. The ability to develop a character up to the thirtieth level.
4. New game maps for multiplayer mode.
5. Additional combat units for older races.
6. New network mode.
