"Darksiders Warmed Edition" is not an original slasher game, but a reissue of "Apocalypse: the Wrath of War" 2010.

Plot

The main character is one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse named War. His mission is to monitor the truce between angelic and demonic forces. But people intervened in the battle of the forces of light and darkness. And the Council accused the War of inciting discord and sentenced it to death. But he gave me the opportunity to improve and sent me to Earth to restore the balance of power. The horseman of the apocalypse got there a hundred years after the last visit, and saw that humanity was simply destroyed, only crumbs remained of the angelic troops, and the army of hell runs everything. The war decided to restore justice and began to crush all the henchmen of the dark part of the world.

Features

If only to say that the graphics of the reissue have improved significantly – this is equivalent to silence. To see the changes, you need to go through the game yourself from the beginning to the end.

And the remake of "Darksiders" is filled to the brim:

1. Riddles.
2. Character development.
3. A bloody meat grinder.
4. Monsters of all stripes and sizes.
5. Branches of a nonlinear plot.
6. Extremely violent scenes of murder and violence, therefore contraindicated for those who are up to....
7. Bosses.

The whole process of the game proceeds according to the classic slasher scenario, mow down enemies by the hundreds, collect a lot of health, find the main villain of the level and kick his ass in the best traditions of Kratos (the main character of the "God of War"). However, in "Darksiders", the murder of the leader of the villains looks a little special, the boss must be poked three times in the most painful place.

The first 70 – 80 percent of the game cause one admiration, but the ending let me down a little. The expectation of an epic battle, which the plot hints at, is blur
