"Sam and Max: Anthology" is a series of quest games about the adventures of friends, dog Sam and rabbit Max, engaged in private investigation and saving the world along the way. The number of parts of the series can be calculated in two ways: by episodes – then the score will go to dozens, or take into account only individual projects, of which there are only three.

«Sam and Max: Season One – Save the Word»

This series can be called both "The First season" and "Save the World". The theme of this cycle of games is hypnosis. In several series, the basis of the plot is the dependence of creatures on outside influence. The ending is absurd. The main villain of the entire season, Hugh Dar, is nothing more than an accumulation of bacteria of alien origin, feeding on human endorphins, which was the reason for the invasion.

«Sam and Max: Season Two – Beyond Time and Spase»

"The second season" or "Beyond Space and Time" is a direct continuation of the first season. And although the time difference between the release of the seasons is almost imperceptible, but the changes are noticeable and visible to the naked eye:

1. Much more dynamic non-player characters.
2. Improved engine.
3. The presence of a hint system.
4. Increased number of mini-games.
5. Improved animation.
6. Support for large-format screens.

This season has five episodes, the meaning of which is as follows:

1. A robot was set on Max and Sam.
2. Heroes-friends are trying to stop the eruption of a volcano.
3. The main characters prevent the invasion of zombies.
4. Sam and Max are looking for the missing Bosco.
5. Friends travel to Hell (voluntarily).

«Sam and Max: Season Three – The Devil’s Playhouse»

The general theme of this season is a box with children's toys with superpowers. After learning about the presence of magical things, the supervillains began hunting for the main characters and objects with unusual properties. And five episodes of this season are devoted to the following topics:

1. Elimination of the alien threat.
2. Returning friends to the past.
3. Max's brain was stolen, and Sam must help his friend find the missing one.
4. There are a lot of cloned Sams and Maxs in the city.
5. Max has turned into a monster, and Sam has to help his friend again.
