Kholat [Update 3] (2015) PC | RePack by R.G. Mechanics

"Kholat" is a first-person horror game (the intended genre), but in fact it is an ordinary quest, a little scary and no more. It is designed by Poles. The background of the game is the real one, which happened in 1959, when a group of nine climbers died in the Ural Mountains under very strange and mysterious circumstances. More than half a century has passed, and the causes of death of the student detachment are still not known to the general public. Cinematographers and publicists tried to find the solution to the terrible mystery. Now it's the turn of the game software developers.

The plot of the game

A group of tourists has already died. The main character goes to investigate the tragedy by train from the town of Ivdel. From the place where the dead climbers started the last route. There is no need to hope that the developers will put forward some special version of what happened. The game will consider a lot of different assumptions, including official ones:

1. Avalanche.
2. Test of a secret rocket.
3. The machinations of the USSR government.
4. Spy squad.
5. Mystical powers.

But the gamer will not be let down to one thing anyway. After all, the game shows real events, the points in which have not yet been set. Therefore, developers will not impose their ideas.

Features

Before starting the journey, the developers gave the main character the opportunity to wander around the station, explore local "sights" in the form of wooden houses. But sooner or later, and still have to go to the winter mountains.

Investigating the event, the player will have to get acquainted:

1. With the records of the search group.
2. With the diaries of the dead climbers from the Dyatlov group.
3. With newspaper clippings.
4. With the lyrics of some madman.
