In 2012, the computer game Game of Thrones based on the works "Songs of Ice and Fire" was released. In the technical aspect, it is clearly behind its time, but in terms of plot, gameplay and atmosphere, it will definitely take any rating tops.

Description

The developers made a risky, but, as it turned out, the right step, because they did not focus on the audience of connoisseurs of the original source or at least the series. The plot shows events that occurred several years before the main narrative, to which there were only rare references in the original. Thus, a player who is not familiar with this universe at all will not feel uncomfortable when starting the game. The game belongs to the RPG genre, its plot is divided into chapters, and two completely dissimilar characters will be alternately controlled by the player. The curious player will find out about the rest of the features himself after he takes up the passage.

This project absorbed many traditional elements from the genre of role-playing games and gave them their own, very significant improvements. The game world of Game of Thrones is cruel and cold-blooded, and therefore the characters must be stronger than what they face.
