"Jagged Alliance: Dilogy" is a mini-collection of the last two (most recent) toys from the entire series of tactical strategies, totaling five pieces (including the original issues and official additions). It was the chronology of the release that was decisive for inclusion in the collection.

Initially, this issue had a shortened name ("Hard Alliance 3"). The plot is a remake of the previous, second issue. The main character, having assembled a group of mercenaries, goes to Latin America to help restore power to the deposed ruler of the fictional country of Arulco. All the characters from the original issue, as well as local recruited residents, will help bring justice back. Among the most special fighters are a Soviet major and a female nudist who performs the role of a medic.

The features of the release can be considered:

1. The absence of a fantastic mode.
2. Recruitment of mercenaries must meet certain conditions (nationalistic, professional), therefore, refusals to "get a job" are possible.
3. Replacing turn-based combat with real-time combat with the possibility of a tactical pause.
4. Only some specially marked obstacles are susceptible to destruction.
5. The noise of movement is a landmark for both the enemy and allies.
6. A huge selection of weapons, camouflage, accessories with a limited resource of uses.

However, not all innovations were positively received by gamers.
