Demigod. Battles of the Gods is one of the first independent games in the "Moba" genre (before that, similar projects were distributed in the form of a map for WarCraft 3 or other strategies), which has a normal storyline. The game was released in the spring of 2009, when the "Moba" genre was not yet so popular.

The plot in Demigod is as banal and simple as possible, you need to win a number of victories by controlling the hero on several battlefields. In addition to the far-fetched plot, "Battles of the Gods" are no different from competitors.

At the time of its release, Demigod provided many unique features, such as a large selection of maps, several game modes and an immediate story campaign. Therefore, the game could completely displace Dota and other competitors, but the poor choice of heroes and disgusting balance immediately scared off most of the players. There are few available heroes, they are sorely lacking for a normal battle. There are only two roles in battle: an assassin and a commander.
