The anthology Lord Of The Rings The Battle for Middle-Earth includes two games of the same name, developed by EA Los Angeles studio based on the novels of the British writer J. R. R. Tolkien.

The following features are characteristic of the entire series:

• the ability to create your own heroes, choosing their skills, customizing their appearance and weapons;
• the action takes place in the setting of the "Lord of the Rings";
• excellent musical accompaniment from famous composers who wrote music for the Lord of the Rings trilogy;
• the presence of a multiplayer mode, which gives the opportunity to fight real players against each other.

The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth

The game in the genre of RTS plunges into a world called Middle-earth. The war between the forces of Good and Evil has been going on here for thousands of years. The dark forces led by Sauron find out that the Ring of Omnipotence has survived. If this powerful weapon falls into the hands of Evil, it will take over Middle-earth and enslave its inhabitants. The player can complete two campaigns – for Good and Evil. During the battle, the parties build their own base, improve buildings, train units and heroes like Aragorn or Gandalf. The game has a high level of graphics and thoughtful mechanics. In addition to the campaign, you can fight in a regular battle, where before the fight, players choose a map and one of four factions, among which: Mordor, Isengard, Rohan and Gondor.

The second part of the popular strategy series differs significantly from the original. The mechanics of building buildings now allows you to erect buildings anywhere. Humans have become a single faction, but new ones have also appeared – dwarves, elves and goblins. The number of units and heroes has doubled. The player can still complete the campaign for both the forces of Good and Evil.
