Jade Empire: Special Edition was originally released for Xbox consoles, but was later ported to PC, largely due to the fact that the console itself is the brainchild of Microsoft. Immediately after the release, the players were divided into 2 clans: the first considered the game a standard RPG, and the second a pathetic semblance of a normal role-playing game.

The PC version received new graphics, added the ability to choose the style of combat and new opponents, so the phrase Special Edition was added to the name.

Universe

The whole game is made in oriental style and prepares the player for the role of the chosen one. And at the very beginning, you are an ordinary, albeit the best, student of a martial arts school. Once having received a task from the master, the main character gets into such a whirlwind of events that it is often difficult for the player to understand all the intricacies of the plot. The emphasis is on the authentic environment of the ancient East and beautiful martial arts style fights.

Choosing a side

During the passage of the storyline company, the player will be able to decide whether to do good deeds to him, saving everyone around him, or somewhere to cause the troubles of ordinary mortals himself. Each action will incline the hero to one of the sides:
