Titan Quest: Anniversary Edition is a kind of tribute to the fans of the series from the developers, of whom there are many. Despite the bankruptcy of Iron Lore, the project was decided to be: Nordic Games bought the rights and in honor of the tenth anniversary of the release of Titan Quest, the Swedish development team now THQ Nordic has released another update.

Differences with the previous version

The average user will notice the difference only in the location of the game menu interface from the lower right screen to the upper left, plus the location of the health and mana indicator. But in fact, the number of numerous changes also included:

• the balance of classes, i.e. a much larger number of combinations of classes that were previously impossible in the original version of the game (10 years ago) become playable;
• secondary characteristics for items have been put in order (for example, clubs, which are used only by warriors, will no longer fall out useless to the warrior class “intelligence”), i.e. by knocking out really rare ammunition, you can not be afraid that it will add characteristics that do not affect your class in any way;
• recalculated the resistance of bosses to certain types of damage.

What has changed with the release of the add-on?

At the time of the release of the anniversary update for Titan Quest, the hack & slash RPG genre is experiencing a new dawn, and exactly in the form in which it should look. I.e., in which it was conceived by the original creators of the genre. This fact certainly pleases when progress is used for good, when priorities are set correctly, when replenishment of opportunities for a combination of skills in crushing skulls and cutting off limbs is put at the forefront. To think through and balance correctly is the hardest thing in this kind of games.

It is not always possible for a new development team not only to leave the key idea, but to pick up and significantly expand and enrich it. So, ten years after the release of the game Titan Quest, the released addition has added a new round of replayability to a truly cult game, which is worth at least getting to know connois
