The protagonist is a powerful wizard who intends to unlock all the secrets of a mysterious world called Aveum. The protagonist, named Jak, becomes a member of a squad of wizards investigating the dying Aveum.

The story campaign gives the opportunity to get into a unique universe that is on the brink of destruction. The magicians need to find out the causes of the apocalypse, fight monsters, and possibly stop the death of Aveum.
