Slender: The Arrival 2023

Slender: The Arrival 2023 is a massive remastered version of the classic horror film in which the gamer must confront the sinister creature Slenderman. 

Review

The developers decided not to abandon the original storyline. At the centre of the plot is a young woman named Lauren, who is trying to find out what happened to her close friend Kate. She lived in a cottage far outside the city and suddenly stopped contacting her. When the protagonist arrived at her cabin, she found that her friend was not there and clearly visible signs of struggle. 

When the heroine starts looking for her, she realises that someone is constantly watching her and this someone is clearly not a human, but something much more terrible and sinister. 

Gameplay

Slender: The Arrival 2023 boasts very beautiful graphics, as the remastered game was developed on the basis of a powerful graphics engine of the new generation Unreal Engine 5.

As for the gameplay, it also remained classic, except for the updated picture, and it is characterised by the following features:

1. Protagonist cannot fight Slenderman - she can only run away from him.
2. In order not to be caught by the antagonist, the gamer should not look at him for a long time - you need to avoid the moments when he gets in the camera lens.
3. To pass through the story, the user must carefully explore the locations and look for notes - they gradually reveal the story.
4. The closer the player will get to the final story, the more aggressive Slenderman becomes, and therefore the complexity will constantly increase over time.
5. The virtual world has grown considerably in size - a lot of new locations with stunning detail have been added.
