Land of the Vikings is a city-building simulator with real-time strategy elements, in which gamers become Scandinavian Jarls. In the role of a leader you will have to turn a small Viking settlement into a prosperous city.

Land of the Vikings offers complete freedom of choice in the development of the settlement. According to the tradition of the genre, the village initially appears as almost abandoned with a small number of inhabitants, resources are not enough, and even constantly attacked by neighbouring tribes.

To solve problems you should approach complexes and develop the settlement in several spheres at once - to engage in food production, construction, infrastructure development, creation of a reliable army. But even more attention should be paid to the inhabitants - it is important to meet their needs and then they will work with maximum productivity. 

Gameplay

Land of the Vikings will be appreciated by all fans of Scandinavian themes and mythology, because the atmosphere of the Vikings here at an extremely decent level. Immediately you get the impression that you get into the series of the same name from HBO. As for the gameplay, it is characterised by the following features:

Not bad graphics as for such a small indie project.

1. There is a dynamic system of changing weather conditions and seasons, which greatly affects the settlement, for example, in winter you can not grow anything, and therefore it is important to start stocking up on food from the summer.
2. Each inhabitant has 20 characteristics, and the gamer can decide which of them to pump and what profession to send the person.
3. It is allowed not only to hire warriors, but also to improve them.
4. In the village will constantly come refugees and gamer needs to decide which of them to settle, and who to kick out to die.
5. Often have to fight with neighbours - you need not only defend, but also attack, because raids also in some situations can save the village at the expense of stolen resources.
