System Shock Remake is a remake of the legendary futuristic action movie, the original of which saw the light of day back in 1994. The first System Shock became a true benchmark of the genre and set the tone for its development for many decades to come.

Review

In the world of an alternative future, people are working on the creation of artificial intelligence, which would greatly facilitate the everyday life of mankind. In one such research complex called "Citadel", scientists managed to make a breakthrough and invent the SHODAN AI, which holds great promise, including in the military sphere.

However, scientists did not take into account the fact that SHODAN is rapidly evolving and capable of self-learning, because of which the AI gets out of control and seizes control of the station. Then he subjugates all the robots and mutants, after which he declares war on humanity, killing all the people who were in the "Citadel". Now SHODAN is hatching plans to repeat his success, only this time on a planet-wide scale. 

Gameplay

The updated version features completely redesigned graphics - it became really modern and colorful. The AI of the enemies has been significantly improved, the locations have become larger and more spectacular. At the same time, the original gameplay is preserved, as well as the storyline.

Among the main key features of System Shock Remake is worth mentioning:

1. A large variety of enemies, each of which is unique in its own way, and therefore it is important for the gamer to choose an individual approach to eliminating a particular type of enemy.
2. In battle you can use an impressive variety of futuristic and firearms.
3. In the course of the passage you will not only have to fight, but also solve puzzles - often they are connected with hacking computers, power supplies, terminals and other equipment.
4. In a number of episodes you have to dive into cyberspace.
