Sons of Valhalla

Sons of Valhalla is an atmospheric side-scroller video game with strategy and RPG elements, which takes the player to the historical setting, namely the conquest of the British Isles by the Vikings.

Review

The central character of the story is the mighty Viking, Thorald Olavson. He is the son of an earl who dreams of establishing a Viking kingdom within England. Now the northern conquerors regularly attack English territory and ravage temples as well as villages. Periodically peace is established between them, but it always ends with the British stabbing them in the back as soon as they see the slightest Viking weakness.

The protagonist decides not to compromise any further and strictly aims to ravage and seize new territories, aided by numerous Viking warriors. 

Gameplay

Among the key gameplay features of the Sons of Valhalla action game is to be highlighted:

1. Beautiful pixelated picture with low system requirements.
2. You can develop your own village, build a variety of buildings and train new fighters.
3. The gamer during the battle will directly control only the protagonist, and his warriors will only blindly follow orders.
4. Combat episodes are quite varied - from the ravages of small villages to confrontations with well-trained soldiers of the regular army. 
5. Quality atmospheric soundtracks. 
6. There are references to real historical characters and events.
