Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun by the canons of old-school shooters does not concentrate on the story. There are no cut-scenes, long dialogues and other things. Almost all the time the player will spend exclusively on the shootout with enemies. 

Events unfold in a futuristic setting, in which the protagonist acts as a fighter of an elite squad of Space Marines. This incredible cool unit is made up of the best warriors, who are required to stand up to a larger enemy. As part of the story campaign, you'll have to fight a horde of orcs and against the forces of Chaos. 

Gameplay

Among the key gameplay chips of the futuristic shooter Warhammer 40,000 must be highlighted:

1. Graphics consistent with the action films of the 1990s.
2. Very dynamic tone of gameplay, tied to the battles.
3. Many types of weapons are present - the protagonist can fight in both melee and ranged combat.
4. Locations are linear and do not give any freedom of action.
5. The presence of scenes of brutality - literally every fight with an opponent is accompanied by dismemberment and bloodshed.
