The Medium

The Medium is a horror-adventure film about parallel dimensions and mediums (people who can communicate with souls from the otherworldly dimension).

Review

The story centers on a young girl who is in the early stages of pregnancy. In recent weeks, something strange has begun to happen to her - she constantly dreams in which she is haunted by a one-armed woman with a dead baby. It becomes clear that the protagonist sees herself.

Trying to make sense of what is happening, the heroine discovers her unique abilities as a medium, through which she is able to communicate with beings from another world. She then develops her gift and is able to use it to temporarily visit the parallel world of the dead. Using her newfound power, the girl must figure out what curse is hanging over her and what needs to be done to prevent the way she sees herself in her nightmares. 

Gameplay

Among the main features of the gameplay of the horror game The Medium should be highlighted:

1. Dynamic battle scenes against enemies from another world are not included in the narrative.
2. The main emphasis is on exploring the environment and solving logical puzzles.
3. Many colorful cutscenes with scenes of brutality, violence, and scrimmages are present.
4. It is possible to use supernatural abilities.
5. There is a function to move between worlds.
6. It is possible to communicate with other entities, who can help in solving the protagonist's problem or, otherwise, harm her actions.
