Confabulation

Confabulation is an adventure horror film that plays on the themes of amnesia and the existence of parallel worlds. The main character here is a man who notices that his home is beginning to change, and not for the better.

Review

Everything begins prosaic enough. The protagonist wakes up in his own house and has no memory of who he is. His task is to reconstruct his life in fragments. At the same time, he notices that the dwelling is constantly changing and supposedly being transported from this dimension to another, darker and more frightening one.

Many of the changes cause him to fear and because of this, the hero gradually loses his sanity. If this scale reaches its maximum, he may die. To prevent such a scenario it is necessary to take pills, but their number is limited, but new ones have a chance to find on the locations. 

Gameplay

Among the main features of gameplay Confabulation should be noted:

1. Offers 2 levels of difficulty - for beginners and pros.
2. There are no saves and lives - the death of the character leads to the fact that he will have to start absolutely the whole passage from the very beginning.
3. The overall duration of the horror is short - everything can be completed in literally an hour or two. 
4. In the course of the narrative, the protagonist will not meet the enemy and will not fight with anyone.
5. The gameplay is entirely built around solving puzzles. 
6. The character has only a camera, which can be used to take photos of various objects in the house at different stages of the passage and notice the changes between them - this is what most puzzles are built around.
