Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - A Criminal Past is a prequel to the original sci-fi action game, in which gamers can once again play as Adam Jensen.

In the add-on, the protagonist has only recently become a member of Squad 29 and not so long ago acquired a new and improved cybernetic body. Nevertheless, the corporation does not let him rest and immediately sends him on a dangerous mission. 

To complete it, the protagonist needs to get behind bars, pretending to be a criminal. This is done in order to get out of the grate of another operative, who is also undercover, but stopped to make contact. He had to get the most important information about an impending terrorist attack. 

Gameplay

Among the main gameplay chips of the futuristic action thriller Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - ACriminal Past should be highlighted:

1. In combat, the character can use a variety of firearms, as well as futuristic gadgets.
2. There is a function to pump up the protagonist, by installing more advanced implants (augmentations).
3. It is not necessary to eliminate enemies in open battle - the player can choose to go through stealth mechanics and act covertly.
4. You can use the gadgets to hack into various security systems and doors. 
5. Since most enemies are at least half cyborgs, even their brains can be hacked, allowing you to eliminate them instantly or to take control of them and use them as a temporary ally.
