The action of the video game unfolds in a post-apocalyptic future world in New Louisiana. The planet was changed decades ago by global warming. It caused the glaciers to melt, causing the ocean level to rise, and most of the coastal cities to be submerged. 

However, humanity adapted to the new conditions and even began to rebuild civilization. The protagonist is one of the adventurers who travel around the ruined country in search of valuable supplies and items. The death of his mother forces the man to return to Louisiana. And when he arrives at his ancestral home, that his own brother has disappeared without a trace, shortly after learning of his mother's death. The protagonist sets himself the goal of finding a relative.
