Death Below

Death Below reveals the theme of secret human experiments in the Soviet Union, of course, using a fair share of sci-fi and horror. 

Review

The action takes the gamer back several decades to a time when the Cold War was going on between the communist and capitalist worlds. The Soviet Union was developing a secret weapon: superhumans. Monstrous experiments on humans were being conducted at secret bases. 

The U.S. government got wind of the secret experiments and sent a special forces unit to infiltrate the base and learn the details. Soon communication with the unit was lost. Only secret agent Rachel remains in the USSR, who sets out to follow the provocative group, because her comrade was serving there. 

Gameplay

Among the main gameplay chips of the horror Death Below should be noted:

1. The narrative is told in two timelines on behalf of 2 characters and at the end both lines add up. 
2. Firearms can be used in combat against enemies, but it is advisable to conserve ammunition, which will always be in short supply.
3. All locations are extremely dark, which adds to the atmosphere.
4. Mass of scrimmers and sudden encounters with enemies, the appearance of which is capable of frightening anyone.
5. It is necessary to thoroughly investigate the levels, because on them you can find not only weapons and ammo, but also notes and documents that can shed light on what is happening.
