The DCS World Steam Edition does not have any clear plot - in front of the gamer is presented a large variety of missions that unfold in several historical eras. For example, there is a simulation of World War II battles, the Vietnam War, as well as many modern conflicts. 

Often in each mission it is only necessary to eliminate a given number of targets - they can be both ground and airborne. There is usually no time limit on the quest.  

Gameplay

Among the main features of the gameplay of the flight simulator should be noted:

1. A total of about 84 fighters from various historical periods are represented.
2. Each fighter has an authentic appearance and set of specifications.
3. More than 150 types of weapons - from machine guns to missiles.
4. High level of realism - the gamer is obliged to monitor a lot of indicators (from fuel reserve to speed and thrust).
5. Ability to activate autopilot to concentrate on capturing the target and destroying it.
