Isles of Etherion is a classic representative of MMORPG, in which the emphasis is not put on the storyline. Here, of course, there are tasks, but they are created only to tell a little about the lore and the structure of the world. 

Their implementation is appropriate for pumping the level of the character. Yes, and they can literally be completed in a few hours. The rest of the time users will spend on battles with monsters and other real-life users.
