Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands Remastered

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands Remastered is a fan re-release of the iconic action-adventure about the Prince of Persia, who must seal the army of Solomon to prevent it from taking over the entire empire.

Review

The prince decides to travel to his own brother Malik's kingdom to learn the martial arts from him. However, when the protagonist arrives in the capital, he discovers that it is under siege. It turns out that the city has almost fallen under the onslaught of a certain army of Solomon and most of the soldiers and inhabitants have been turned into living sand statues. 

The prince discovers that Malik has broken the ancient spell that held back the demon Ratash. He set out thousands of years ago to destroy men and jinn. To imprison Ratash and his sand army again the main character has to find two parts of the medallion and restore its integrity, which will allow him to activate the magic seals again. 

Gameplay

The main innovation in Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands Remastered is the graphics. All textures have been improved and become more detailed. Especially eye-catching are the models of protagonist and characters. As for the gameplay, it has remained unchanged and is characterized by the following features:

1. The ability to apply amazing parkour skills to move around locations, like running on walls, as well as in battles with enemies.
2. The protagonist can use four elements as weapons, for example, the power of fire allows you to set your enemies on fire, and the power of wind allows you to create a powerful tornado.
3. Several types of rank-and-file enemies with unique styles and attacks, as well as a number of dangerous bosses that require individual tactics to defeat. 
4. A dynamic combat system that forces you to constantly move, use parkour, magic, and of course melee skills using edged weapons.
