Behind Enemy lines 2: Assault offers access to several single-player campaigns for countries such as the Soviet Union, Germany, the United States, Britain, and Japan. Each campaign features several missions that recreate key World War II battles, such as the Allied landings in Normandy, the defense of Kharkov, the Ardennes War Campaign and a host of others. 

However, the single-player format is far from the main one - the developers emphasize, above all, on the multiplayer mode. 

Gameplay

Among the key gameplay features of the strategy Behind Enemy Lines 2: Assault should be highlighted:

1. Each nation has developed a unique set of units and combat vehicles.
2. All battles take place in real time. 
3. Many of the objects of the surrounding world are completely destructible.

6. Additional troops can be summoned using reinforcement points.
