Silent Storm is a tactical strategy video game that at the time of its release in 2003 boasted a very realistic physical model with destructible virtual world objects.

Review

Events take place in an alternate reality during World War II. All the action will unfold on the territory of Europe in 1943. At a time of bloody conflict, a secret terrorist organization called "Thor's Hammer" is created, which nurtures plans to seize world domination. 

To subdue the leaders of the most powerful countries, the organization plans to use a revolutionary weapon - the orbital ray gun. However, to get it into orbit, the terrorists have formed an alliance with the Nazis to use their latest missile technology. Gamers can choose a side - the Axis or the Allies - as part of the gameplay and go through a single campaign consisting of dozens of missions.

Gameplay

Among the main gameplay features of the tactical strategy Silent Storm is worth highlighting:

1. There is an impressive arsenal of authentic WWII small arms, as well as several samples of futuristic guns.
2. Characters can use protective equipment and the best is the combat exoskeleton, which can withstand a shot from almost any gun.
3. During combat, the gamer must learn to control six Persians, each with their own arsenal, set of abilities and tactics.
4. Many of the surrounding objects are completely destructible, which creates new tactical possibilities.
