Review

The events of the video game are set in a modern alternative setting, and the main action unfolds in a fictional cleaning plant called Big Shell. It is taken over by a well-organized group of terrorists who call themselves the "Sons of Freedom." 

The antagonists demand a huge sum of money from the U.S. government in exchange for the life of the president of America and threaten to stage a major terrorist attack on the plant, which is sure to lead to a global environmental disaster. In the aftermath it turns out that the events have a more frightening nature and in fact behind what is happening is a mysterious group of "Patriots", who are planning a conspiracy of world proportions. Gamers will play for a special agent Raiden, who must stop the villains.
