Unusual Findings is nothing short of a tribute to the classic video games of the 1980s and the whole pop and geek culture of America of that period.

Review

This fascinating arcade features many references to iconic movies and video games of the vintage 1980s. The events themselves are set in a small American town. It is, of course, the 80's. The plot centers on a trio of teenage friends, Tony, Vinnie and Nick. 

The boys get a long-awaited device with which they can unlock access to an adult pay-per-view channel. Trying to bypass the channel's protection, the protagonists pick up a signal from an alien spaceship that is about to launch an invasion of the planet.

The boys set out to stop the aliens and find out their motives - why they came and why they abduct the locals. And, of course, they have yet to gain access to adult movies. 

Gameplay

Among the main gameplay chips of the retro arcade game Unusual Findings should be noted:

1. Every action and decision made affects the relationship between the characters and the development of the story.
2. Lots of references to 1980s pop culture.
3. Beautiful retro graphics in the best traditions of 8 and 16-bit consoles.
4. Uncomplicated gameplay, based on dialogues, location exploration, puzzle solving and item retrieval.
5. Interesting and sometimes extremely funny storyline.
6. Very low system requirements - great news for owners of weak PCs.
