The Messenger

The Messenger is a two-dimensional platformer stylized as the classic hits of the genre of the last century with beautiful pixelated graphics, just like in the 1990s.

Review

The action is set in fantasy Japan. The protagonist is an experienced ninja whose village is attacked by hordes of demons. Most of the inhabitants die in an unequal battle, but part of the clan managed to survive, though not for long. 

Protagonist must take the magic scroll and go with him to the cursed world. This will help forever stop the invasion of demons and thus save not only the remains of his clan, but the whole country from ruin.

Gameplay

The key gameplay features of The Messenger platformer are:

1. Low system requirements, which is the perfect gift for owners of weak PCs.
2. A classic gameplay for the genre, tied to the battle with opponents and overcoming physical obstacles.
3. As you pass the levels are allowed to pump up the character, increasing its combat efficiency.
4. The ability to pass through portals, which allow you to make jumps in time and between worlds.
5. With the proper ingenuity and luck you can find the secret levels.
6. Gradually increasing difficulty with each new level.
