Strafe

Strafe is an old-school retro shooter set in the distant future. The gamer is transported to the farthest corner of the galaxy to exterminate monsters.

Review

Strafe does not place even the slightest emphasis on the storyline and concentrates entirely on gameplay. The gamer is offered a total of 12 levels, and the locations are generated procedurally, so each playthrough will be unique. Even after the death of your character you will have to re-adapt to the environment, which adds a lot to the level of difficulty. 

In addition, combat mechanics is already difficult, as the protagonist can not survive a lot of damage and dies from just a couple of accurate attacks, however, the same applies to the enemy mobs.

Gameplay

Among the main gameplay features of the retro shooter Strafe should be noted:

1. Beautiful old-school graphics with low system requirements.
2. About 30 types of unique weapons.
3. There is a mechanic of pumping guns as you progress through the game.
4. About 20 types of opponents and each of them has a unique appearance, characteristics and types of attacks.
5. Possibility to make a real bloody mess - blood literally spurts from your enemies and stays on the surfaces, and then does not disappear.
6. Perfectly recreated atmosphere of sci-fi shooters of the classic 1990s.
