Toy Soldiers is a re-release of the classic action-strategy set during the brutal period of World War I.

Review

The main distinguishing feature is the unique models of soldiers. Instead of realistic soldiers, there are toy models of soldiers to control on the battlefield. In addition to infantry, you are also allowed to manipulate artillery pieces, tanks and planes. And they all look like in the good old children's kits with hundreds of soldiers and combat equipment toys.

The re-release has significantly improved the level of graphics. The textures have received a full HD-resolution and now the project looks quite playable even against the modern hits with Hollywood pictures and special effects.

Gameplay

Among the main gameplay features of Toy Soldiers action strategy is worth noting:

1. The need to personally form a line of defense or attack, placing units in positions and directions.
2. You can observe the battlefield from above and give orders as in a regular RTS, as well as move right into the thick of the battle and personally manage the artillery, tanks, planes, and so on.
3. All the weapons and equipment and even the clothes of the toy soldiers are authentic and correspond to the events of 1914-1918.
4. The enemies also have the strongest bosses at their disposal, which require individual tactics to defeat.
