Quake Live

Quake Live is a classic multiplayer shooter that is based on the third Quake engine. This project is famous for the fact that it still remains popular among a huge number of fans of shooters for over ten years. In fact, it became the benchmark for the genre and set the tone for its development.

Review

There is no story here, as the gameplay revolves around multiplayer battles in arenas. There is no single player campaign.

Quake Live has simple, unpretentious graphics on a primitive engine for today's shooters. Nevertheless, the project pulls off due to its futuristic atmosphere and dynamic battles with futuristic firearms. 

Gameplay

Quake Live features many interesting multiplayer modes, including:

1. Duel - two users fight each other and the one who earns more points at the end of the matches wins, and they in turn are given for kills.
2. Free For All - a group of gamers fights in the format every man for himself and the winner is the one who scored more points.
3. Team Death Match - the same mode as the previous one, only here the players are divided into 2 teams.
4. Freeze Tag - as soon as the player's health drops to a minimum level - he freezes, but his comrades can unfreeze him, and the team loses the one with all areas immobilized.
5. Domination - it is required to hold your control points and capture enemy ones.
6. Attack & Defend - The classic capture the flag, which you must move to your base.
