Thief: The Dark Project is the first video game in the extremely popular Thief series, in which gamers will play as the thief Garrett. He has the opportunity to stop the invasion of evil and defeat the evil god Trickster.

Review

Garrett is an extremely talented thief who exclusively robs rich citizens and also gives some of the loot to poor townspeople and beggars. One day the protagonist is tasked with stealing a certain blade and a mysterious artifact called the Eye.

As a result, he finds himself caught up in a very confusing and grim story. In the course of his mission he finds himself deceived by the pagan god Trickster, who plots to summon the undead into the world.

Gameplay

Among the key gameplay features of the stealth action game Thief: The Dark Project is worth highlighting:

1. The events unfold in the setting of the Late Middle Ages with fantasy elements. 
2. There are three levels of difficulty and in the last one the protagonist is not allowed to kill enemies - if he admits it, the mission automatically fails.
3. Developed stealth mechanics, thanks to which the hero can move silently and make his way through crowds of guards.
4. Parkour system is implemented, allowing to overcome any obstacles on your way.
5. The hero has a limited arsenal of weapons, the main of which is a bow and arrow.
