WARNO

WARNO is a real-time strategy whose events unfold in an alternative setting, where a massive Third World War has set in.

Review

The action is set in 1989. According to the plot, a group of radicals arranges a large-scale coup in the Soviet Union and overthrows Gorbachev from power. After that, they take over the government completely and begin to build up their military power, threatening the Western countries. This greatly inflames the already tense situation, eventually leading to a full-fledged military conflict between the two blocs - the democratic West and the communist East. 

Gameplay

Among the main gameplay features of the RTS WARNO we should highlight:

1. The ability to play as many factions, including the Soviet Union, the United States, Germany (East and West), Britain and France.
2. Each country has its own set of units and vehicles.
3. In total, the number of types of combat units are more than 600.
4. Troops are represented by tanks, APCs, infantrymen, helicopters, fighters, and so on.
5. There are no elements of base construction and resource extraction - the gameplay is completely focused on the battles.
6. In combat, you have to consider the terrain conditions and apply tactical techniques to achieve your goals.
