The Dark Pictures Anthology is a very atmospheric horror franchise, developed in the genre of interactive cinema, in which the gamer has a lot of opportunities to influence the development of the storyline.

All parts

The Dark Pictures Anthology games are not connected by a single story. Each one is a short story with an original plot and characters. They are all related in that the events unfold as in classic horror stories and offer a group of people to confront a powerful evil. 

The series currently consists of the following parts:

1. Man of Medan - members of a diving expedition try to find a World War II plane that has fallen into the sea, but instead become hostage to a ghost ship.
2. Little Hope - A group of students find themselves in the small 17th century witch hunting town of Little Hope after a serious car accident. Periodically they are transported to the past, where they see characters that are exact copy of them.
3. House of Ashes - a detachment of American soldiers, trying to hide from enemy pursuit, get into an ancient abandoned temple, where they awaken evil that has been sleeping for thousands of years.
4. The Devil in Me - A team of journalists goes to a modern copy of Henry Holmes's mansion, where they find themselves in a situation in which the victims of the famous serial killer found themselves in the past.
