Resident Evil 4 VR is a unique version of one of the coolest shooters of the past, designed specifically for virtual reality glasses and helmets.

Review

Events, as before, unfold in a small Spanish village where Leon Kennedy has gone. It was here that he found traces of an ancient sect that kidnapped the daughter of the president of the United States. Upon arriving at his destination, the protagonist sees that a disaster has occurred in the settlement. All residents have turned into zombies and mutants, who behave extremely aggressively and attack any human. The protagonist needs to go through the entire village and most importantly, get to the castle, where the girl is imprisoned.

Gameplay

If the storyline remains the same, the gameplay has undergone significant changes, namely:

1. The visuals have been significantly updated - all textures have been redrawn and are now more detailed.
2. Slightly improved quality of special effects.
3. Completely changed the control and mechanics of interaction with the objects of the world - all the actions of the user is now required to perform using his own hands.
4. Shooting mechanics also became much more interesting - the gamer is obliged to reload his hand gestures, and the combat now looks a bit more complicated.

Otherwise nothing has changed. The gamer travels through the devastated village and fights with numerous mutants. To kill them you will need to shoot accurately at vulnerable points, such as the head. As the narrative progresses, it's important to replenish your inventory with consumables, weapons and ammo.
