Mafia 4 continues to tell intriguing stories about the Italian Mafia in a beautifully recreated retro setting. The fourth installment is a prequel to the previously released trilogy and tells the story of the beginnings of one of the biggest crime families.

Events unfold long before the original first installment and the main character is the still obscure criminal Ennio Salieri. Initially, gamers will be transported to the island of Sicily, where the protagonist was born and first embarked on the criminal world. Here he makes his first attempts to create an organized criminal group, but learns about the United States, a country with incredible opportunities, including for criminals.

Arriving America, the protagonist must influence the local underworld, begin to gain credibility among other villains and make attempts to build his own mafia family. 

Gameplay

Among the main gameplay features of the third-person shooter Mafia 4 requires highlighting:

1. A huge and fully open virtual world, which is represented by a fictional metropolis resembling New York City.
2. The gamer gets absolute freedom of action and exploration of the universe and can do anything - moonlighting, racing, testing and so on.
3. Colorful cinematic cutscenes through which the storyline is served.
4. An impressive arsenal of authentic firearms.
5. The user must manage his mafia, assigning capos, hiring new fighters, giving them assignments, roofing businesses, seizing territory and much more.
