Beyond: Two Souls

Beyond: Two Souls is an interactive drama with elements of stealth action, which tells an interesting story in the spirit of the best science fiction works.

Review

The story centers on a young girl named Jody Holmes. Already since her birth, it was clear that their daughter is not the most ordinary person. Attached to her soul is a powerful spirit, which the protagonist calls Ayden.

After such a discovery, the parents turned to specialists, and they helped Jody learn how to interact with the other soul for many years. Once the heroine made some progress and accepted Ayden, she learned to apply her incredible abilities, including telepathy, the ability to penetrate other people's thoughts and control their actions. 

However, the scientists had parallel goals of their own. Using the heroine's skills, they intended to open a portal to Inframir - a dimension inhabited by the souls of dead people, as well as many other far more monstrous creatures. 

Gameplay

Among the main gameplay chips of the interactive movie Beyond: Two Souls is important to highlight:

1. All actions taken and choices made affect the further development of the story, because of which the ending is constructed solely by the user.
2. During the passage of the user can control both Jody and Aiden. The latter is able to possess other people's bodies, pass through walls, see objects from another world, and so on.
3. The protagonist can summon the souls of the dead to communicate with them.
4. Most of the levels must be passed using stealth mechanics.
5. In the story dialogues, the gamer is given a certain amount of time to think - if he does not make a choice in time, the game will do it for him.
