Starship Troopers: Terran Command is a classic RTS with a sci-fi theme, the plot and setting of which recreates the events that took place in the movie "Star Troopers".

Review

Events take place in the world of the distant future, in which mankind in order to survive must regularly colonize more and more new planets. This time, an advance party of Star Troopers land on a planet that is ideal for human existence with a few exceptions.

Its surface is inhabited by a race of very aggressive and very numerous alien insects that attack anyone who enters their territory. The gamer's task is to prepare a beachhead for further colonization, thereby destroying many hordes and insects and freeing them from the territories suitable for the construction of cities. 

Gameplay

Among the main gameplay features of the real-time strategy game Starship Troopers: Terran Command are:

1. The combat system is characterized by a high level of brutality - users can expect colorful special effects and a lot of caked blood, both human and alien.
2. The gameplay comes down to base building, resource extraction and creating an army to mop up locations from enemies.
3. There are 10 unique types of units, each of which has a unique appearance, weapons, abilities and characteristics.
4. There is a function of technology development, which provide significant bonuses for both the settlement and the army.
5. In battles, it is important to use the knowledge of tactics and use the terrain to get the most advantageous position.
6. In addition to the rank-and-file soldiers, there are leaders who can form units and become their commanders - such groups are much easier to manage than a scattered army.
