Streets of Rage

Streets of Rage is a more modern version of the old-school hit that came out in 1994 on consoles. As before, gamers must save a fictional neon metropolis from an evil corporation led by a badass antagonist.

Review

The protagonists are former police officers Axel Stone, Adam Hunter and Blaze Fielding. Word reaches the protagonists that things are now turbulent on the streets - there are increasingly frequent skirmishes between the police and members of an unknown gang. As a result, it grows so much that it almost takes over the metropolis and the few cops are no longer able to fix the situation.

The heroes decide to take matters into their own hands. They take strength in their fist and go to the dangerous streets to stop the gang. But the Persians are well aware that they can't beat all the henchmen, so it's important to find their leader. 

Gameplay

Among the key gameplay chips fighting game / platformer Streets of Rage:

1. Each of the three Persians has its own style of combat - kung fu, boxing and judo.
2. The gameplay is not overpowered with puzzles, RPG elements and so on - it all comes down to endless dynamic battles with numerous mobs.
3. Opponents are represented by punks and other marginalized cells of society - they are all divided into classes, which distinguishes them by their characteristics and fighting style.
4. The story campaign is represented by a total of 8 missions with gradually increasing difficulty.
5. There is a function to play together with a friend on the same computer. 
6. At the end of each location is a boss battle.
