Rogue Legacy

Rogue Legacy is a gameplay-wise unusual RPG, the main feature of which is the mechanic of changing generations after the death of a character. This approach throws up a huge amount of randomness and noticeably increases the difficulty.

Review

The developers decided not to burden the gamer with stories about the setting and complex storyline - they did not devote any attention to this. Instead, they offer a procedurally generated virtual world without repetition, which makes each foray for gold and valuable items unique. 

Visually, it is clear that the action takes place in a fantasy universe that resembles the classic Middle Ages, except that there is magic, monsters, dragons and other attributes of mythology and fairy tales. 

Gameplay

Among the main gameplay features of Rogue Legacy is required:

1. The main in-game currency is gold - for it you can buy armor, weapons, artifacts and other consumables that will help in battles.
2. After the death of the character he is not revived, and instead his descendants come into the game, with their appearance, abilities, fighting style, strengths and weaknesses are randomly generated.
3. The gamer still has an opportunity to positively influence his descendants - to do this, it is necessary to improve his estate, investing money in it. Thus, the offspring will be handsome tall warriors or talented wizards, not dwarves and fat men who can't even hold a sword in their hands. 
4. Beautiful retro graphics that are virtually free of iron and run even on weak PCs.
