Stellaris: Galaxy Edition [v 1.5.1 + 8 DLC] (2016) PC
The strategy genre in the gaming industry is mainly represented by products that lead the narrative in a historical perspective. And although it still remains interesting, one way or another, but the scale of what is happening on the screen is limited to one planet, which does not allow the player to fully demonstrate the scale of his thinking. In this case, the setting comes to the rescue, within which it becomes possible to manage entire star systems. This is exactly the kind of game Stellaris is.
General description
The game takes place in a certain universe, where several different races are fighting. During the passage, the player will have to explore the surrounding space, as a result of which he will gain access to new knowledge and technologies. This will allow us to develop new models of weapons or a method of interplanetary travel. At the same time, no matter how huge the cosmos is, sooner or later you will have to face a competing party that claims the same thing.
Which way it goes, further events will depend solely on the actions of the player. The universe, despite its volumes, reacts sensitively to all the actions taken, so you will have to think through literally every step. To go from a small planet on the outskirts of the galaxy, to a powerful empire that inspires fear with its name alone – that's what the player has to do.
Gameplay Features
First of all, the Stellaris strategy stands out, thanks to a huge procedurally generated world, or rather a section of the universe. At the same time, outer space looks far from empty. On almost all planets that revolve around a huge number of stars, with due attention, you can find valuable resources or technologies that will open the doors to further development of sectors, and therefore strengthen your power.
Before starting the game, you can choose one of several sides. The distribution is not symbolic here. The potential capabilities of the player will depend on which race the player represents. For example, some forms of governance are preferable for some civilizations and unacceptable for others. A similar situation is observed in the technological sphere.
The player will have to pay attention not only to the study of the surrounding spaces, but also to political interaction, both in external relations and within his own state. It will not do without tactica
