The events of Volcanoids take you to a post-apocalyptic setting, where humanity must survive underground, escaping from evil robots and natural disasters.

Review

In an alternate future, humans are faced with the threat of destruction by robots. They tried to hide from them underground, but the huge drilling machines went too far and caused a series of volcanic eruptions of incredible power. As a result of these catastrophes, about 95 percent of all humanity died.

The survivors took refuge in a network of underground cities. The protagonist is one of those who regularly goes to the surface to scout and destroy robots, because their parts are extremely important for the existence of the underground world. 

Gameplay

Among the main gameplay features of the futuristic first-person shooter Volcanoids is required:

1. Very well-drawn locations, which are represented as the territory of the surface of the planet, and the underground world.
2. The main enemies are various models of robots, which are armed to the teeth and have excellent protection, but they are also inherent vulnerable places, where it is necessary to fire.
3. There is a serious arsenal of futuristic weapons, from firearms to bladed weapons like saws and portable drills.
4. No less of a threat to the protagonist are regular volcanic eruptions, followed by lava flows - they instantly kill anyone who gets in the way.
5. There is a built-in construction and management system that allows you to build entire underground cities and build machines to extract minerals and natural resources.
