Medieval Kingdom Wars

Medieval Kingdom Wars will give you the opportunity to become a participant in the famous Hundred Years War - a military conflict that affected a total of 14 medieval states and forever changed the map of Europe.

Review

Quite strongly in terms of gameplay, it resembles the Total War series, but here more emphasis is placed on realism, including in battles. They do not look as dynamic and large-scale as Total War, however, they will require more competent tactical actions from the gamer.

At the beginning of the campaign, the user can choose one of more than ten states and develop it according to their own scenario - the game does not offer to exactly repeat the course of historical events. However, during the course of the game, players will meet many historical figures who had a significant impact on Europe in the 14th century.

Game process

Among the main gameplay features of the medieval strategy Total War, it is worth noting:

1. Events on the global world map, which is represented by the entire territory of Western Europe, take place in a step-by-step format - every turn and one quarter (1/4 of the year).
2. All factions are unique in their own way - they have a unique set of units and bonuses, for example, one country shows itself better in trade, and the other has a better navy.
3. Battles take place both on land (there are both battles on a flat field, and assaults on cities and fortresses), and at sea in real time.
4. The user is obliged to conduct diplomatic negotiations and conclude trade agreements.
5. There is a technology research tree that allows you to improve the economic, cultural, military and social potential of the state.
